Concept & Kitchen
At the end of April 2010 we opened the first CHIPPS restaurant on Jägerstraße in Berlin. Directly behind the Foreign Office, centrally located in Mitte, the restaurant is in a quiet area and is very light, with panoramic windows and a sun-drenched terrace. Inside we have created a clear design concept with grey walls, large metal lamps and a visible storeroom. The open show kitchen has become the centrepiece of CHIPPS.
Seven days a week we serve fresh, light meals made with seasonal and regional ingredients, from breakfast to dinner. The special thing about CHIPPS is our menu. On the one hand changing and seasonally adapted dishes can be found on our lunch/dinner menu, and on the other, the mix-and-match principle applies: by choosing from ingredients like a pasta sheet or potato CHIPP, fresh vegetables, a choice of sauces or dressings and toppings, everyone can put together a meal to suit their own tastes. With the option of a hot main meal or cold, as a salad. At our restaurant meat and fish appear on the menu as a side order and are served on a separate plate.
