Architectural practice and design consultancy SHH was set up in 1992 by its three directors and co-founders: David Spence, Graham Harris and Neil Hogan, all of whom still actively run the company on a day-to-day basis, aided by six senior Associates.
The company, based in its own west London studio, is a 40-strong practice and employs a highly talented and cosmopolitan team of architects, interior designers, graphic designers, technical and administrative staff. Our work is also very much international in scope, located anywhere from Moscow to Bahrain, Pisa and Riga to Qatar, Lisbon and Tokyo. Our clients are prestige names anywhere in the world and include Christie's, Savills and the Mittal family.
SHH offers a full architectural, interiors and branding service – from planning, architecture and interior architecture right through to styling, decoration, environmental and 2D graphics. We specialise in creating cutting-edge, design-led solutions that are elegant and long-lasting and which perform both financially and aesthetically for their owners and end-users.
Having built our early reputation in high-end luxury housing, where we continue both to innovate and dominate, SHH's current day portfolio is strong right across the board - from shops, bars, restaurants, hotels, leisure centres, nightclubs and offices to identity, lighting, graphics, signage and digital media projects.
Over 90 case studies of our work have been published in design and architectural books worldwide, as well as appearing in hundreds of articles in national newspapers such as The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and The Independent in the UK and in international lifestyle, architectural and design titles including VOGUE (UK), ELLE Deco (UK and India), Architectural Digest (France and Russia), Robb Report and Interior Design (USA), Design 360 (China), Belle and Contemporary Home Design (Australia), IW and DECO Journal (Korea), Artravel (France), DHD (Italy) and Habitat (South Africa). All aspects of our work have garnered awards, with a total of 29 company and project award wins and a further 29 finalist placements.
